Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla denounced on Twitter the US Government as responsible for the fuel shortage affecting several sectors of the national economy.

«Preventing the entry of fuel into the country is part of genocidal actions against #Cuba. It causes damage to our people, deprivation, and difficulties that are impacting every Cuban family these days. This has a responsible: the #U.S. government,» Rodriguez Parrilla stressed.

Since the last few days, the country has had a temporary shortage of fuel due to the tightening of the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States.

The President of the Council of State and the Council of Ministers, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, has reiterated the need to find alternatives to minimize the impact.

Other authorities insist on supporting the fight against fuel theft and ratify as work priorities the protection of basic services such as transportation, communal hygiene, health and education, among others.

Likewise, government representatives began a national tour to verify compliance with the measures to face the difficult energy situation in the country. (Taken from Cuban News Agency)
