The behavior of cadre policy, unionization, financial management, and work projections for the current year are topics of analysis today by members of the Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Central Union of Cuba (), in the plenary session presided over by Osnay Miguel Colina Rodríguez, president of the organizing commission of the 22nd Congress of this organization.

The meeting began with a minute of silence in tribute to Cuban compatriots who fell following the imperialist aggression against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

Niurka Ferrer Castillo, general secretary of the union organization in the Avileño territory, read the central report of the meeting, and the debate was initiated by Dr. Lisandra Limonte La Rosa, from the municipality of Ciro Redondo, who emphasized the exercise of unionization to incorporate state workers, retirees, and new economic actors from the private sector into the ranks of the Central union.

On the agenda is the approval of the program of a new political movement, called Latido 87, which includes several tribute activities for the 87th anniversary of the founding of the .
Union structures most outstanding for their comprehensive management in 2025 will also be recognized.
