From September 21 to 27, 2025, the Iberostar Selection Varadero Hotel will host the 4th International Congress on Biotechnological Product Manufacturing and Regulatory Affairs, known as Biomanufacturing 2025. This event has become a benchmark for technical and scientific exchange in the Cuban biopharmaceutical industry, focusing on production, innovation, quality control, and regulatory standards.

Over seven days, experts from various disciplines will share insights on biotechnological product manufacturing, process validation, advanced analytical techniques, and industrial automation. Topics will also include regulatory frameworks, the use of artificial intelligence in biotechnology, and new tools to predict the stability of vaccines, biotherapeutic products, and diagnostic systems.

The congress will bring together manufacturers, process engineers, researchers, suppliers, and quality assurance professionals. This diversity will foster specialized dialogue and promote collaboration among key stakeholders in the sector.

Rodolfo Valdés Véliz, president of the Scientific Committee, emphasized that this edition will maintain the inspiring approach of previous years. The conferences will allow attendees—from students to seasoned professionals—to stay updated on the latest advancements and exchange ideas that shape the future of bioprocessing.

Biomanufacturing 2025 aims to deepen the progress made in biotechnological production, enhance operational efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and contribute to patient well-being. Key topics include technology transfer, the development of monoclonal antibodies and recombinant proteins, and innovations that offer greater flexibility in manufacturing methods while significantly reducing associated risks.

Beyond its academic content, the event will unfold in a setting that blends scientific rigor with the natural beauty of Varadero, promising a professionally and personally enriching experience.
