The Electronic Industry, Information Technology, Automation, and Communications Business Group (Gelect, in Spanish) received the Victoria Collective Certificate for the third time in recognition of its headquarters’ outstanding work and comprehensive results in 2024.

The National Union of Industry Workers (SNTI) grants this status to endorse performance in important areas such as innovation, saving, and participating in the risk identification process as part of internal control.
According to Rolando Larrea, the secretary general of the union branch, notable activities include political and ideological activities, worker security, and, in conjunction with management, monitoring compliance with budgets allocated to improving living and working conditions at the facilities.
Ana Ircys Aguilera Ríos, a member of the Union of Industries’ provincial bureau, presented the certificate to Gelect president Lázarojim Campos. On behalf of the workers, he expressed gratitude for the award, which reaffirms the entity’s commitment to improving and developing the electronics and communications industry in the country.
At the same time, the National Union of Industrial Workers (SNTI) Group of the Electronics, IT, Automation, and Communications Industry, «GELECT,» stands out for its union activities. The group is overseen by the Minister of Industries associated with worker welfare.
