Who doesn’t enjoy doing what they love most in life? It is difficult to use the expression in general terms, and some would say it is ironic, given the need to earn more no matter where or under what conditions.

With the rise in prices and the different salary scales, we are plunged into the world of money, in which the phrase «I like my job» is called into question by the fact of being paid more in another job (almost always private), which, without being to our liking, yields a better income. In other words, the concept of doing well in what we study is often forgotten.

The cultural exercise in state offers responds to principles, schedules and serving the nation. For this, laws, codes and labor protections have been conquered by the unions over many years. Despite the complex conditions and scarce resources in many places, this is still the case today.

However, the stay in this sector is not encouraging and we are living in a stage in which «how much am I going to get paid for working in this…» is worth more than to be doing a job of professional growth above a salary with which it is difficult, at times impossible, to cover the basic basket of goods and services.

Thus, life begins to be questioned, especially for young people, the university  diploma, which many of them put away after several years of sweat, sacrifice and tears within a teaching institution, given the growing monetary need.

This is not always the case, because there are people with more than 30 years of work, who despite the difficulties continue with the same love and dedication of the first day because they see light and passion in what they do, and live more and more in love with their profession.

How much will I get paid…? has become the key question for these times, as the preference for private jobs over state jobs jumps. The new measures implemented by the government for the health and education sectors have begun to reverse the declines in those payrolls in recent years.

It is just a first step towards a new strategy, which cannot become synonymous with negligence, but is a plus that respects the sacrifice of many people, who have always defended and value the art of serving and doing it well.
