Cuba Hosts International Seminar on Longevity

Under the motto »What to do to achieve 120 and more, with an active and satisfactory longevity,» the 14th International Seminar on Longevity began yesterday at the Conference Center in Havana.

 

As part of the event organized by the Caribbean Medical Association, the 10th International Nursing Meeting, the 3rd International Oral Health Symposium in Longevity, and the 12th Centenary Meeting, will also be held.

The event, to be run until Friday, June 9th, will discuss issues such as genetics, culture, motivation, sexuality, nutrition and food, environment and physical activity.

The Ministry of Public Health and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment of Cuba; the World Health Organization and the Pan-American Health Organization; the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences in Havana; and the National Institute of Sport, Physical Education and Recreation, sponsor the seminar.
