To all our friends around the world

The Central Workers’ Union of Cuba (CTC) and its National Trade Union Branches representing Cuban workers and few days before Cuba introduces the report at the General Assembly of United Nations demanding the elimination of the unilateral, cruel and genocide blockade of the United States against our country, call friends around the world to support this declaration.

Due to the harm that blockade represents for the normal development of the economy in the country Cuban workers acting as creators of wealth will continue looking for solutions to face difficulties, turning each working place into an impregnable bastion that prevents our people from kneeling down. And even under these circumstances our people will continue fulfilling their international duty and raising their voice defending the justice in any place around the world.

Although the United States’ President has expressed several times that blockade is obsolete and that it should be lifted and even he encourages the Congress to work in that direction the blockade is still in force and that’s why we have to condemn it.

Friends all over the world:

We call you by October 26th, 2016 to join us in condemning this cruel measure that doesn’t allow us to increase production and services with fullness and to achieve a prosperous and sustainable development of our people.

¡Everybody voting against Blockade!
