Almost three decades ago, the football genius Diago Armando Maradona won the leadership against the English team in the World Cup final at the Aztec Stadium in Mexico, 1986.

Maradona’s hand or if you like D10s, tasted like revenge then, as if that goal at minute 51, Argentina would pay off its kids dead in Falklands’  cold ; as if that theft validated by the referees  would be the only one, the supreme way to regain a land they have always dreamt to be theirs.

In Mexico, the alb celestial ended crowned as world champion leaded by Maradona in state of grace in which that same day, against England, they would film the most spectacular goal of history considered by many people.

There is no other sequence seen the most in football. Diego’s run is an image of cult, a magic glitter of an Argentina that, since then, has never repeated that dream again.

The gauchos arrived in Brazil 2014 by the hand of another giant: Maradona’s heir, a boy from Rosario who has four Golden Balls and has genius in his legs.

This time, Lionel Messi has paid the debt from South Africa, and has classified to the round before the quarterfinals with two luxury goals. However, this Messi’s Argentina does not manage to bring peace to its fans.

During two matches against rivals with fewer calibers, Messi could only mark the difference by extreme quality, because in the group, there is a long list of names but there is never a team.

Sabella’s Argentina is no more than a disjointed formation that chokes without been able to find the necessary oxygen for the game, so the balls will flow in the field; a defense payroll made of glass and lack of mobility.

So far, despite the powerful defense by Lio’s mysticism, Argentina convinces no one. What used to be football reference for years is now a bunch of talented players unable to work organized. From alb celestial Maradona, there is only left seconds of memorable videos in the Mexican field.

But the dream is intact: Falklands and the World Cup are two symbols of nobility that gravitate in the imaginary scenario of Argentina. Even though, let’s be honest, despite the magic spread, one Messi does not make a team, everybody knows that including Sabella.
