With the aim of providing union leaders in Camagüey with tools and knowledge, a training session was recently held on the impact of the economic and social transformations taking place in the country.

Professor Daiquier Hernández Hernández, from the provincial PCC school, was responsible for delivering the content to provincial, municipal, and grassroots union leaders in the municipality of Camagüey.

As highlighted by Jenry Puente Rodríguez, general secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Central Workers’ Union of Cuba (CTC), the labor movement will play a mobilizing role: “We will take charge of accompanying, explaining, and supporting each economic measure in the workplaces during its implementation process.”

The meeting helped union leaders understand the importance of thoroughly studying each transformation, since there are very specific elements in each sector.

This will allow leaders, during workplace meetings and assemblies, to explain and argue every detail of these transformations.

However, as Professor Hernández Hernández warned, many workers may express dissatisfaction with these changes, making it crucial to understand the reasons behind them and the need to safeguard the Revolution through these measures.
