Strength of Union Unity

“I trust that the Congress will not be limited to diagnoses, but will generate concrete and viable proposals to improve working conditions, guarantee rights, and strengthen the active participation of the working class in the search for solutions.”

With this conviction, Lic. Elizabeth Mustelier Hardy will be present at the meeting on June 26 and 27.

From her work as a specialist at the Joven Club in Santiago de Cuba, and as a representative of the Communications union, she hopes that the Congress “will allow an objective analysis of the adversities our country faces, the economic situation, the limitations of resources, and the social tensions that directly affect the members.

“We will also reaffirm the unconditional commitment of Cuban workers to the Revolution, the Party, and the defense of our sovereignty at any cost.”

On a personal level, this woman from Santiago assumes with pride and responsibility the commitment of being a delegate to the 22nd Congress of the CTC.

“My presence in this space is not only personal, but also represents my coworkers, and as such, their concerns aimed at strengthening union work and the development of our collective.

“Being a delegate means being a voice, a bridge, and a driving force for transformation for the benefit of all, with communication as both bridge and engine of change.”
