The National Union of Commerce, Gastronomy, and Services, together with the Ministry of Domestic Trade, have issued joint guidelines for the upcoming consultation process with workers regarding the Draft Labor Code.
The process will include a focused approach for both sectors to ensure that all workers have the opportunity to engage with the draft legislation.
He added that the National Union and the Ministry have outlined specific measures to ensure the planned process is properly supported and monitored.
Across all levels, the consultation on the Draft Labor Code is currently the most important political process, aiming to strengthen worker representation and improve labor legislation in Cuba
