Cuban companies present a wide tourism portfolio in Argentina

Regularly visited by Argentines, Cuba presented today, through several companies, among them the Cubanacan hotel group, several proposals of its wide tourist portfolio with several novelties in this 2020.
In a meeting with tour operators from this southern country, organized by Havanatur company, the main travel agency of this Caribbean island, a range of options for Argentine visitors was presented, from the traditional sun and beach tourism to other more specialized ones such as nature, cultural or religious tourism.

The Cuban embassy’s tourism counselor for the Southern Cone, Janet Ayala, stressed that since last year, on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the founding of Havana, the Caribbean nation is shown today as a renewed, rejuvenated, modern and constantly developing destination.

She cited, for example, the many newly opened hotels, including the Paseo del Prado in the Cuban capital, or the new facilities in destinations such as Cayo Guillermo or Cayo Cruz, the latter located in the archipelago known as Jardines del Rey.

She also highlighted the high level of repetition of the Argentines to the island, which are today the second largest emitters of tourists to Cuba in the region.

Presenting the new products of the Cubanacan group, with more than 30 years of experience, the sales executive, Alexis Llanes, gave a wide overview of the various installations deployed throughout the island and emphasized new proposals that go beyond the always recurrent and visited destination La Habana-Varadero.
