Cuba Attends Film, Radio and Television Seminar in China

Cuban radio and television professionals are participating along with filmmakers from a dozen nations in a seminar that opened on Wednesday in China to share experiences on production in these media.
Organized by the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television of China, the event is a platform where the Asian nation shares its experiences and progress with representatives from developing countries.

The event, also sponsored by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, brings together professionals in communication, advertising and marketing, as well as the film industry.

Lizet Marquez, Yordanis Rodriguez Laurencio and Dayani Haro, journalists and filmmakers of the Cuban Radio and Television Institute (ICRT), are participating in the seminar.

As part of the seminar, scheduled to run for three weeks, attendees will have the opportunity to exchange with experts and Chinese authorities on film, radio and television production.

They will also discuss the possibilities of increasing cooperation ties between China and developing countries in these areas.

In addition to Cuba, representatives from the Dominican Republic, Hungary, Palestine, Ethiopia, Ghana and Malaysia, among other nations, are attending the forum.

The seminar also includes meetings with Chinese sector authorities, visits to universities, research institutes, radio and television stations and other sites of interest in China. (Taken from Prensa Latina)
