Cuba´s First VP starts African tour

The First Vice-President of the Councils of States and Ministers, Salvador Valdés Mesa, began on Wednesday a visit to South Africa, where he will take part in the inauguration of the President, Cyril Ramaphosa, and carry out other activities.

Granma newspaper reports that Valdes Mesa which will later make an official visit to the Kingdom of Eswatini and the Republic of Ethiopia, where he will hold meetings with the main authorities of both countries, and will carry out a broad work agenda.

The official Cuban delegation is also integrated by the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ana Teresita González Fraga, and General Arnaldo Tamayo Méndez. In South Africa, it is also integrated by the Cuban Ambassador in that country, Rodolfo Benítez Verson. (Taken from Cuban News Agency)
