Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba Central Committee, received May 20 the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, compañero Pham Binh Minh, a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam Political Bureau, on an official visit to Cuba.
In a friendly atmosphere, they exchanged about the excellent and historical relations existing between the peoples, parties and governments of both countries, as well as the respective experiences in the construction of socialism. They also addressed international issues.
The distinguished visitor was accompanied by the Vietnamese Ambassador to Cuba, Nguyen Trung Thanh.
