39th International Tourism Fair Concludes in Cuba

After a hectic week of meetings and visits, the 39th International Tourism Fair of Cuba, FITCuba 2019, is cconcluding on Saturday in Havana.
Tour operators and travel agents from around the world expressed interest in this country as a recreational destination in the company of managers, hoteliers and journalists from all five continents.

Havana as a center, on the occasion of its 500th anniversary on November 16, was an appropriate setting for the meeting, which focused on congresses, events and incentives, with Spain as the guest of honor.

Delegates from all over the world visited not only the stands at the Morro-Cabaña military-historic complex, the venue of the fair, but also traveled to other places such as the western province of Pinar del Rio and Varadero beach.

Talks, negotiations and other contacts enhanced the travel industry in Cuba with the aim of setting a record in 2019 of five million foreign holidaymakers.

Russia will be the guest country at the International Tourism Fair of Cuba, FITCuba 2020, which will take place in May next year. (Taken from Prensa Latina)
