Third Seminar China-Latin America to be Held in Cuba


The third Seminar China-Latin America will be held next week in Habana, to tackle joint actions in the field of renewable energy and climate change, said a source related to the event.

 

Arodis Caballero, director of the Cuban Institute for Researches on Sugar Cane by-Products, told the Prensa Latina news agency that the event is included in the International Congress on Sugar and by-Products, Diversification 2017, to be opened on Monday at Pabexpo in this city.

The third forum, coordinated by China as a result of the increasing collaboration of this country with Latin America, will be held during one day of the congress.

The first forum was held in Brazil and the second one in China.

Companies and institutions from the ministers of Energy and Mine, Science, Technologies and Environment, Higher Education, the Sugar Group Azcuba, amid others, as well as Chinese companies, will exhibit their technologies and development in these fields.

Caballero said that Diversification 2017 is a scientific event that will have more than 300 works and a trade exhibition with products and services related from 12 Cuban companies, as well as 35 from China, Brazil, European countries and others. (Taken from Prensa Latina)
