The process of candidates’ nomination to delegates in the posts at the municipal assemblies of the People’s Power is at a steady space according to the program foreseen, as it was informed by Reynaldo Rosado Rosello, vocal of the National Electoral Commission (CEN).
On Sunday, March 8 at noon, 21, 308 assemblies were held in Cuba, which represents the 46 percent of the total of them in the planning and there were nominated 15, 315 people, from them 36,6 percent are women and 18,3 percent are young.
In the information reported to Trabajadores Newspaper Rosado Rosello said that on March 16 there will be published the lists of voters, and at the same time of the nomination, all the electoral commissions that are working in the districts are being trained. These commissions, together with the gross root organizations of the districts are going to carry out a job house by house, with the goal to update the registration voters’ book, to guarantee arrive to the day of the elections on April 19 without difficulties.
Likewise, he informed that the assemblies that had been suspended for several reasons, have been reprogramed, so that the closing of the process will not be affected on March 25.
