A Glance to the Wall of Havana

Havana’s wall is a priority place for the people who live in this city, to entertain themselves fishing or watching the sunset. It the best place for lovers or to simply enjoy sightseeing observing the arrival of the vessels to the port in the Cuban capital. It is a place you are forced to visit and reference for all tourists coming to the Cuban archipelago for rest and enjoyment.

This wall starts at the entrance of Havana Bay –on the east-, bordering the sea shore for about eight kilometers.

Its construction started at the beginning of the 20th century, in 1901.

There are important castles near this wall that were built by the Spanish colonizers.
