FIHAV 2013: Branches of Iron and Steal to Apply for Prizes

The “Diana” bus, car batteries, containers for liquefied gas and fire extinguishers are among the list of branches that will apply for prizes in the XXXI edition of the International Fair in Havana (FIHAV 2013), to be held from November 3 to 9 in Expocuba.

Tamara Gonzales, main specialist of foreign relations from the Iron and Steal Enterprise Group (GESIME), said in a press conference the entity is represented in a stand of 100 square meters located in the central pavilion of the fair’s venue where the main exportable products, the services and the integral projects will be in exposition.

Some of the samples are the steal bars, electric wires, solar heaters, irrigation systems, windmills, milk churns, wheel chairs for disabled people, clinic furniture, not ferrous scrap bales and a tricycle with a motor named Coco Mobile for taxi service.

“We have worked to improve the quality and appearance of our products in marketing matter, an indicator of efficiency and reliability”, the official said and highlighted that besides the quantitative stock participating, the challenge is in the quality, to have a good market abroad.

In hall B of pavilion 25, there will be presentations of the services like the strengthening of the hospitals, the automation of the facilities, trailers of 20 tons and they will meet with national entities that repair equipments. She noted it will be an important space to get in touch and jointly work with suppliers of technological appliances and businessmen devoted to importation and exportation, as well as with those related to policies planned by the Ministry of Industries.
