Prince Charles of Wales and the Duchess Camilla of Cornwall toured areas of the historic centre of Havana, declared by UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982.

On the second day of their visit to Cuba, the first ever made by members of the British royalty, their Majesties made the tour accompanied by Havana historian Eusebio Leal.
Charles and Camila unveiled a statue that evokes the English playwright and poet William Shakespeare and appreciated a plaque recalls the presence of British troops in the Cuban capital in 1762, under the reign of George III. (Taken from Prensa Latina)
