Olympics Tokyo-2020 President to Deliver Master Lecture in Cuba

The President of the Organizing Committee of Olympic Games Tokyo-2020, Yoshiro Mori, will offer in Havana a master lectura in the event Cubamotricidad, from October 22-26, revealed Master in Science, Irina Mendez.
Mori, 81 years old, former Prime Minister of the Asian nation and ex Minister of Education and Construction, heads the group of personalities and executives who will attend the academic venue.

The event will transmit to the world the experiences and research done by the greater of the Antilles and attending countries regarding sports for all and high-yield disciplines.

Apart from the Japanese directive, ministers of Sports of Burkina-Faso, Vietnam, South Africa, Panama, Mali, Mozambique, Cape Verde and Barbados, as well as the executive of Japan’s Olympic Committee, Tsunekazu Takeda and that of the Ethiopian Athletism Federation, the several times awarded long-distance runner, Haile Gebrselassie.

During the event, there will session the Regional Congress of the International Association of Physical Education and Sports for Girls and Women.

The program also includes the Pan American Congress of the International Association of Sports for All, the Convention of Infant Psicomotricity, as well as several fórums related to Physical Education and School Sports, Community Physical Activity and Recreation.

According to Mendez, the inaugural act is scheduled for October 22 at the colosseum of the Sports City and already confirmed specialists of 40 countries, including the hosting nation.

The inaugural lecture will be given by doctor Antonio Becali, president of the National Sports Institute, titled: ‘The Cuban Sports System looking at Agenda 2020-2030’.

Among the invited lecturers stand out Swiss Paul Dorochenko, French Pierre Parlebas, South Korean Ju-Ho Chang and Cuban Orlando Terre, president of the World Association of Special Education and the World Organization of Education, Stimulation and Infant Development.

Associated to the event there will be the gymnastrade on October 22 at the Superior Institute of Physical Culture ‘Comandante Manuel Fajarsdo’, a creative modality to promote health, social integration and cultural practice of gymnastics in its different expressions.

There will also be the first international baseball -5 tournament at the Latin American stadium and a clinic on this discipline. (Taken from Prensa Latina)
