The Ministry of Foreign Relations of the Republic of Cuba condemns the terrorist attack perpetuated in Esmeraldas, Ecuador, and expresses its solidarity with the government of this sister country and its people.
The Ministry of Foreign Relations of the Republic of Cuba wishes the victims of these acts a rapid recovery and reiterates our firm rejection and condemnation of all terrorist acts, methods, and practices, in all forms and expressions, regardless of their motivation.
This reprehensible act violates the postulates of the Proclamation of Latin America and the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace, adopted by heads of state and government during the 2nd Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States, held in Havana in January of 2014.
