The 25th South American Voluntary Work and Solidarity with Cuba Brigade has started its plan of activities, after being received at the Julio Antonio Mella International Camp in Caimito, Artemisa province.
The objective of the Brigade is to contribute to a greater understanding of the Cuban reality and carry out voluntary work as a contribution to agricultural development and other productive tasks.

The program includes visits to places of historical, economic, cultural and social interest; not only in the capital but also in other provinces, in addition to lectures on current national and international issues and meetings with organizations of the Cuban society.

The agricultural work will be carried out in areas surrounding the Julio Antonio Mella International Camp.

The Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) hosts each year the Latin American Voluntary Work and Solidarity with Cuba Brigade, made up of delegations from Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay.
