A brigade with 40 tourism workers from Santiago de Cuba departed towards Coco and Guillermo keys, in Ciego de Ávila province, to help in the recovery of hotels affected by the devastating Hurricane Irma.

The brigade includes electricians, carpenters, roofers and tour guides, who will collaborate in the facilities of one of the most visited tourist centers in the country.

Juan Carlos Suarez, general secretary of the Tourism Company in Santiago de Cuba, expressed the willingness to stay there as long as necessary, because this is a vital area for the reopening of the high season. (Taken from Cuban News Agency)
