In the Cuban tourist scene, the cave system attracts more people every year, arriving to the island to enjoy nature trips and adventures, as speleology specialists recognize it.

Some group guides in the western Cuban province of Pinar del Río timely told this journalist how attractive is this type of active rest and reviewed some elements.

An interesting trip to Cuba may be related to its cave system, therefore it is good for speleologists, professionals or amateurs, or simply for adventurous tourists.

Cuba is considered by speleologists as having a surface area of 60 percent (tropical carso). Cuba has 26,000 caves and many of them are interesting natural museums. (Taken from Prensa Latina)
