4079-fidel-castroHavana, August 5 (RHC) — A new and repulsive kind of fascism is surfacing at this moment of human history, as over seven billion people struggle for their own survival, writes Cuban Revolution leader Fidel Castro in his Reflection published on Tuesday under the title “Palestinian Holocaust in Gaza.”

Fidel recalls facts and details published by the media about the current Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip describing it as a shameful and criminal war on a piece of land, which is home to the remaining independent Palestinian population.

Fidel points out that the Nazi genocide against the Jews raised the hatred of all nations of the world, and he asked why the government of Israel expects the world to remain insensitive in the face of this macabre genocide. And he adds that Israel should not expect the world to ignore the complicity of the U.S. empire in this shameful massacre.

Humanity is now living an unprecedented stage in history, Fidel notes, and explains that the crash of military aircraft or any similar event could unleash a war with the most modern and sophisticated weapons and thus give way to the last human adventure on Earth.

Facts show that the United States is almost completely incapable of facing current world problems, Fidel points out, adding that “it is really sad that this is happening when we face greater dangers, and also the possibilities to keep living.”

Fidel says that new crucial forces have been born, pointing to BRICS — Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa — whose relations with Latin America, Caribbean and African nations constitute the force for collaboration with the rest of the world. (Radio Havana Cuba)
