The International Committee for the Freedom of the Cuban Five has everything organized in detail. This is an event that will bring light on the case of the antiterrorist fighters in Washington D.C., and will have several scenarios from June 4 to 10.

Important personalities have confirmed their attendance to this third activity, where there will be Dolores Huerta, Ignacio Ramonet, Gayle McLaughlin, Fernando Morais, Danny Glover, lawyers on behalf humanitarian organizations, parliamentarians, friend in solidarity from Latin America and Europe and a Cuban delegation living in Miami.

It will start with a conference at the Press National Club by Skype where Rene Gonzalez and Fernando Gonzalez, two of the first Cuban Five Heroes that had served their unjust sentences; as well as Martin Garbus, main lawyer of the case, and the Canadian author Stephen Kimber.

Besides the updating in the case of the Cuban Five, there will be a round table and a panel on experts on the United States’ blockade against Cuba.

On June 5 they will screen a documentary on the International Commission of Investigation from London, and the round of the well known photographer and Cuban producer Roberto Chile.

On June 5 and 6, as part of the conference New era of the U.S.-Cuba relations, a panel made of important lawyers will debate on the updating of the case. This will be the scenario for the exhibition of the caricatures Humor from prison, from Gerardo Hernandez, unjustly condemned to two life sentences plus 15 years and the 15 watercolors from Antonio Guerrero Yo me muero como vivi (I die as I live).

On Saturday, June 7 they have organized a parade on the streets of the city and a manifestation in front of the White House that will have as main speaker Rafael Cancel Miranda, Puerto Rican independence leader, Cindy Sheehan, peace activist and other representatives from different movements in solidarity inside the U.S.

On Sunday they will visit the Capitol where they have agreed several interviews to congressmen and parliamentarians. For Monday 9 and Tuesday 10 it is foreseen to keep on with those visits, teleconferences and finally they will close the event.
